✅ICT OFFICER II (SYSTEM DEVELOPER) – 2 POSTS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist in installations of standard software and hardware;
• To perform systems analysis and design;
• To perform systems testing (Software validation & verification), system configurations and troubleshooting;
• To maintain and support business process applications;
• To design, install, configure and review LAN and WAN infrastructure;
• To install, configure, and update antivirus software;
• To test, network equipment and devices, implements network security plan and perform network troubleshooting;
• To assist in selecting appropriate multimedia software and hardware tools;
• To provide technical support to multimedia systems’ users; and Multimedia devices and equipment;
• To update, test and manage web site and server;
• To implement ICT security policy;
• To alert users on various security risks, threats and vulnerabilities;
• To design, develop, implements and test Database;
• To perform Database Administration and Maintenance;
• To assist students and other ICT users at the Institute and
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent qualification from recognized Universities or Institutions.

SALARY SCALE: PGSS 7
